Ultimate Guitar used to have accessible Guitar Pro files that you could download and open up in the Guitar Pro program.
The amount you could learn from unwrapping the compositions of your favorite songs was absolutely pivotal in my learning journey.
They have since removed this capability, which is so unfortunate.
However, I have a small collection of GP files that I have exported into Multichannel MIDI compositions that can be dragged and dropped into most DAWs.
I want to make these available for educational and non-commercial purposes.
They will be posted in batches. I do not own these works, nor did I create them.

If you have an iPad with Logic Pro or Garageband, here is a short demo of the idea and what you can do:
Logic or Garageband are the quickest and easiest way to view these files quickly as they assign instruments automatically. You can view the individual notes of a track, change any of the instruments, transpose, etc.
Very powerful process. Will post more eventually.
